On Friday I held my first weed workshop for kids. We had a really lovely day, looking at plants, drawing them and eating them. The drawings are amazing & so was the food – the lovely salad is in the pics. We were lucky with the weather too, a perfect Spring day for being outdoors. Thanks to all the kids and parents who helped to make the day so great.

A short workshop to help in the identification and use of edible weeds. The plants I will speak about have been used in herbal medicine for hundreds and sometimes thousands of years. They are nutrient rich and can support us in our health. They are also free and often more abundant than the plants we are growing in our vegie patch.
